WOW I have waited LONG ENOUGH to post this video lol! Hope you guys enjoy this thorough review on RMS beauty, I was surprised to learn that technically this makeup is EDIBLE because it's that natural!
I am really interested in organic/natural minimalist makeup, and I feel many of us are also steering toward that lifestyle! I fell in love with PERRICONE makeup at the end of 2016, check out the review here:
So I’m sure that if you liked that one, you’ll enjoy this review/demo as well!

The “magic” luminizer (champagne colored highlighter) and the “tinted un-powder” are my hero products from RMS. A lot of the other products don’t seem to last on my oily/combo skin. As for effective natural “green” mascaras, The W3LL PEOPLE expressionist mascara, hynt beauty nocturne mascara, and the Lily Lolo mascara are some of my favorites. 💖☺️
Is the coconut oil ok with your oily/combo skin? I have same skin type and coconut oil tends to make me break out. There’s a space NK nearby and I’ll pop in a few times to test the unconcealer out…….🤞🏼
The cream shadows are really beautiful in an editorial way- but they are definately NOT life-proof, unfortunately. I have the brown/metallic one called Seduce, and I can use it as a cream liner. If it goes anywhere near the crease of your eyes it’ll break up and settle there in an hour or so, and I don’t have oily lids at all. It’s basically a cream, so if you want to use it on your lids you’d have to either avoid the crease area entirely or powder it down- and loose the sheen. If you have really dry lids it might actually feel soothing though… If you like cream highlighters then put your money on those instead, RMS makes the prettiest ones!
Did you try their cream eyeshadow? Do they last on your eyes? The reviews I read were so different from each other. I have the same skintype as you though.
Elisabeth – MissEllolisoss – I love that Hynt Mascara, my fave!
The Magic Luminizer is my favourite as well, along with the Diabolique Lip-thing=) I love how versatile her products are! There are some things I don’t necessarily like about some RMS products, (like the powder eyeshadows and expensive collection quads with no mirror) but I aaalways tend to reach for the good ones, and that makes them worth the money in my book!
It’s really nice to see this! I’m a lover of cruelty free and more natural / green products that are better for your skin. I’m glad you enjoyed some of the products Chloe, they look lovely on you. I really love Hynt Beauty, I would really recommend their products too. And you’ve got Inika, a nice Aussie brand xxx
rainbow OK thank you!
This is the first big YouTuber I’ve seen do a full face of RMS. I’ve been using them for about a year, and it definitely takes some practice to get used to applying an oil based foundation. I only use natural ingredient makeup, and I’m glad it’s finally gaining popularity!
I love RMS concealer!!! It is so moisturising and light on my skin!!! Perfect for the dewy and natural makeup look! I also used it in my makeup videos!
You look incredible and I want everything! Thanks for reviewing RMS. Would love to see more like this (Kjaer Weis, Ilia etc).
I love the idea of RMS but so damn expensive. I’ve been trying to mke my own with mineral pigments shae butter coconet oil etc. Still trying to perfect my own recipe.
@holisticmaya I agree. They last so long! My family didnt believe me when I introduced them to RMS and I gave them samples and those sample lasted MONTHS! And they came back for more wanting to get full sizes. It’s so great for maturing skin, I’m young but some of my aunts and my mom(50s) love RMS now.
Good luck! 🍀
@isa That’s an idiotic thing to say. Your skin is an organ, everything you put on it will be absorbed to some extent. So putting good nurturing products in make-up is simply better than chemicals. Even if they aren’t harmful per se, they land to some extent in your body.
Katia Manfredi It might be expensive but the products last a long time. I bought the uncover up last spring and I am still using it, it will last me for at least 1 year, i know because this is my 3rd pot 🙂
koshka marvel I like glory boon foundation off of etsy 🙂
Your skin is amazing. I’m in awe here! Also, I have to say all the little cosmetic treatments you have had are SOOO natural. I hope that doesn’t come across as a snide comment but I genuinely mean it! X
Holly Lenny – LippyInDubai omg, it’s amazing to see you here! Love your Dubai vlogs xx
My life goal is to have beautiful skin like you one day 💗
I love the eyeshadows on you! Makes your blue eyes stand out super pretty 😊
“you’d never know… might see the queen” – what i tell myself every time i go grocery shopping with a full face of makeup
Kjear W has a similar cream foundation that is has a bit more coverage- her blushes are beautiful as Well. Vapour Organic is also amazing!!! I love there Cream blushes. Also love Crunchi, Sappho foundation is amazing, Lily Lolo from the UK – mascara a cult fave in the green beauty world. Hynt Beauty- concealer is amazing and a lot of peeps like their mascara. I just started using PHB ethical beauty from UK – there Blushes are gorgeous. Dusty girls – I think their an Aussie brands. Oh my gosh the list goes on – check out the indie beauty expo website – they must have a list of green beauty brands!! I don’t use conventional makeup but I love your videos so excited to see you reviewing green beauty products!!! ❤️ oh you can also check out credo beauty and detox market online for other green beauty brands – credo is kinda like the Sephora of green beauty- they have stores as well. I wonder how many times I can mention green beauty 🤣
Kelly Turner Hi Kelly – you bet! I have been doing non-toxic skincare and makeup since my early twenties and I just turned 50 last year! Let me tell you it’s all come A LONG WAY!! Keep in touch and let me know what products you try – I ❤️ chatting about skincare and makeup 😊
Laurie Ehrhardt wow so many options! Thanks!! My current favorite is BioFond Foundation by Gerda Spillmann. Actually I’ve loved it for almost 2 years now. It gives such a beautiful natural look but covers well, and is incredibly lightweight.
Yes definitely check her videos out, I think you’ll enjoy them ☺️.
Thank you for listing so many options for me to check out!!
Kelly Turner I’ll check out Gerda Spillman foundation- thanks for sharing!
Kelly Turner no I haven’t seen her videos yet – I’m excited to check them out!!! Thank you! Oh that’s a hard one cause I have quite a few I like at the moment and it depends on how my skin is behaving or what I’m doing that day. The stand outs for me I guess would be the new Sappho Essentials- there other formula is good to but it’s more matte and has coconut oil so I can’t wear all the time. I just purchased the new Dr. Hauschka foundations – I really like them. I say them cause I often have to mix. I am also into the La Mav BB cream with a loose powder mineral foundation over. I also just got the Nude by Nature BB Creams – their mineral foundation is on the way. Haven’t tried yet. I’m interested their foundations as well. I like the Jane. I Liquid Minerals- I add a drop of Jojoba oil and it kind works like a color correcting primer then I use the Jane I. Mineral foundation on top. Also love the Hynt Beauty Pressed powders. I have samples of the Elate full tint and I’m liking those a are well – I have their Pressed Powders they are great! Sorry I can be more specific 😐. With all that said —-I think the Sappho Essentials is probably my fave at the moment. I tend to like BB Creams and then a pressed or loose mineral foundation over it – I find that works well for my drier mature skin. So all the foundations I mentioned are lightweight and not heavy foundations.
Laurie Ehrhardt wow Laurie that’s awesome!! I know in the last few years I have heard more and more about green beauty products whereas years prior I never really had. So I can imagine that it was very difficult to acquire years ago. I’m very glad more information is available for it !
Do you happen to watch Brianna Stanko here on YouTube? Medical grade and all natural skincare products are her specialty. Plus finding more healthy beauty options. She works in that field and is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! Her video yesterday was a 45 minute skincare overview. I love her skincare videos!!
