@BeautyWearsBoots How often does the first night of Hanukkah fall on Christmas? – Vox if you find yourself ever wondering why people like Taylor & Adam Sandler or other famous Jewish people you’ll see why here it is possible that both holidays will coincide time wise. I highly doubt you will find any of her true fans see her as a channel of mere moneymaking-she does have a day job. She’s about to embark on 15 Days of Foundation & as a woman who lives in a women’s & children’s shelter because of my extremely abusive exbf I greatly appreciate her involvement in Project Beauty Share, the amount she donates throughout the year & raises during this time. The sheer dedication by putting various products on her skin for her channel & all who watch for her thoughts on them is why she created her channel to begin with-one doesn’t make a ton of money from having as many followers as she does compared to other “influencers,” however I believe she deserves many more simply because of her charitable work & effort, time & money that she puts into her channel is outweighed by her gaining & she’s spoken of this many times.
But, as you can see if you look up the aforementioned site or Google for yourself, both holidays have overlapping schedules.
So whether or not you celebrate-happy day off/happy Hannakkah/merry Christmas/happy Kwanzaa/Russian Christmas/& more holidays I’m sure & happy variety of the world new year!

Oooh! Might have to try the elf primer. I wont lie, I am getting pissed at e.l.f. Their pricing just keeps increasing and increasing. $8 primer, $8 setting spray. Don’t get me wrong, those are still affordable but I feel like the reason e.l.f. was so great and noticeable was because they had some awesome products at such an inexpensive price, closer to a Wet & Wild. They are getting to be closer priced to Covergirl and Maybelline than they are Wet & Wild. Sorry for the mini rant. lol. I just cant believe the price increase over the last couple of years. Healthy and good quality ingredients cost money. This putty primer is priced at $8.00, and the Tatcha primer costs $50.00, that’s a $42.00 difference. Why are people complaining, ELF is still incredibly cheap.

I tried the tatcha and returned it cuz it was making my makeup slide off. Now I have the elf and I much prefer it. Like alot. Like oh please God dont let this make my skin congested cuz I need this in my life!
I find the same problem with the no pore problem primer too. The serum version is ok but still wouldn’t go for more once out. I got them in BoxyCharm.
@hammypie I have this elf primer and it’s so good. I have a combo skin type. I always have dry cheeks and sometimes somewhat flaky cheeks esp during winter season and summer but if you use a good moisturizer, it works wonderful!
I can’t use the Tacha on my t-zone because my foundation slides off. I’m excited to try the elf version.
Hammypie, I think if you moisturized well before, it would not grab or enhance dry skin. It’s very smooth and emollient without being greasy.

Evie Laurent I’ve been talking about that a lot. How us Americans completely abuse our return policy. I get so mad watching some youtubers dig their fingers into an eye shadow palette and then go, “I’ve decided I don’t like the colors so I’m going to return it.” And all I can think this how return policies end up so strict you can’t even return unused untouched products!!! I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you enjoy it. But honestly, I’d advise you’d explore other options!!

I know ratings of comedogenicy are not perfect, but…Argan oil is rated 0 meaning we believe in the skincare field that it has no pore clogging properties & should not break anyone out…but again, there’s always exceptions 2 the rule. The reasons go 0-5, 5 being highly comedogenic…& just an fyi, coconut oil is a 4 everyone, meaning most will experience breakouts & clogging. Other zeros include Hemp seed oil, Sunflower seed oil, & high linoleic safflower seed oil. So if u want an oil that will not cause issues, there u go. Honorable mentions that are a 1, rosehip seed oil (my jam!) & Grapeseed oil. There are others & many comedogenic oil tables online, compare a few before deciding on an oil. Some tables do not take processing & refining into consideration.

Amy Anderson that’s interesting. I’ve been using coconut oil for a long while and never experienced an issue. Not one break out or clogged pore. What it did do though was hydrate my dry skin like crazy! It’s also awesome for removing eye makeup.

@Tiffytatortots 1 some people can use coconut oil without any issue & if u can, that’s great, cause there are wonderful benefits to using the oil, healthy lipids & ceramides…like u said it’s great 4 the OCM, but also just to seal in serums or moiture. I would say in practice, about 70% of people that try coconut oil (on their face, many can use it on their bodies w/ no issues, including me) find it clogs, but the other 30% can use it with no problems. It def depends on the type u use as well, refined vs unrefined, diff brands, virgin, organic, etc. The rating of 4 on the comedogenic scale was derived from studies done on mice in the 40s-60s. It was thought that the skin on the ears of mice most closely represented human facial skin so comedogenic & irritant tests were done on mice ears back then for a lot of things (poor mice 🐭) we know now that that wasn’t the most accurate way of doing things 😕 Newer studies of coconut oil & it’s comedogenic properties have been/ are being done & “some” have shown that it might actually carry a rating of closer to 2, meaning a good amt of people can use it without issue. Because these studies were small & very few have been done, I still tell clients to use caution, spot test a few days to see if it clogs on their skin & assume a rating of 3-4, but larger studies may show different. It’s great u can use it though. It’s even great 4 pets. My cats gets dry skin on her ears sometimes & because coconut oil is safe 4 pets to ingest I use it on her ears & it works great…no cat pimples either lol

According to Dr. Dray castor oil does not cause hair growth. She just emphasized that again in her video checking out product ingredients at Big Lots.
Yeah I know many people who swear by it for brows and lashes. I would definitely be scared to use this on my face much!
I use Castor oil every night on my brows, eyelashes and hairline. All three have seen hair growth.
There is zero science behind this. I can’t find any journals on the topic, only articles with health professionals backing up the fact that there is no scientific evidence behind the theory that castor oil stimulates hair growth.
