Every “beauty guru” / “influenced” should be grateful every day for Michelle Phan. She literally paved the way for beauty videos and even sponsored videos. She’s the queen and doesn’t get enough credit for all of her achievements on YouTube and outside of YouTube.
I grew up all throughout highschool using her makeup tutorials as my entire knowledge base for makeup lol. And honestly? looking at pics of myself in highschool my makeup looked pretty good lol so props to her

@Sirama thank you! I stated at 15 (I’m 24 now) to hide acne and redness. I haven’t really used makeup since I was about 18. I only really use the glossier skin tint because it’s super sheer and just makes me look a little more healthy/awake

What you said about the pigment did make sense. When you first showed the eyeshadow, I didn’t think it would show up on me at all but it surprised me.

I love this kinda of color story (shadow palette) and wow it looks so pretty……Jessica Braun used to always tall about how much she loves this palette because she too loves just brown and beiges…..just nudey tones and it’s SO ME….I JUST LOVE THAT EYE LOOK….I.JUST HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING INTO LIKE SUPER BRIGHT COLORED EYESHADOW

It’s not broken … I have the same issue with my liquid blush 😔 I really wish the component was different. I do not think that type of dropper works period
Robert! someone in the comments said that you shouldn’t completely close the blush when you’re using the dropper. Just set it in and press the button, because it needs air to work! 🖤🖤🖤

btw, most em cosmetics products have similar shades (like magic hour, faded clementine), so it’s very easy to buy lipstick, blush and other products that go together very well (because they are the same shade) 😉

But on his tombstone when he goes to his grave it says Eric Draven and whatever his last name was in the movie. Michelle Phan was probably the reason why I stopped caking on my makeup and trying to love my skin more. I’ve also been watching her since middle school so I hold her close. So having you explore EM cosmetics instead of judging it on one product like most videos was really nice of you. We also have the same skin tone so I can snatch these up knowing they’ll look good 😅💕.

@Hendry-R. yeah I agree, no hate on Michelle Phan- she obviously has a lot of passion for beauty and I used to LOVE her so much- but she has had too many issues with all of the brands she’s started, even Ipsy. This is, I believe, the 2nd time she has started em cosmetics. The first time it flopped. I think we as consumers should be doing more research into products we buy instead of riding the bandwagon.

That’s a gossip rag. Nowhere in Michelle’s whole career has she ever exhibited any opinions like that. Anything that I’ve ever seen and watched and heard, she’s exhibited kindness, unlike some of these comments. I think some of y’all need to for real examine yourselves on feeling the need to bring down another person with unfounded facts.
Regarding shade range, I have a very dark skin tone, and haven’t had any problems with shades regarding EM lip clouds, serum blushes and eye shadows. Faded clementine looks great on me. I haven’t looked into the cushions so much, only because I have my own holy grail tinted moisturizer I use that matches my shade perfectly.
As a woman of color, I am so proud of her that she, being an Asian American was able to break molds and do the damn thang. She broke glass ceilings when representation still wasn’t readily universal. It many ways, it still isn’t. ✌🏿

With the serum blush, here’s the steps to get it working:
1. open the top
2. remove the top from the bottle and hold the button (this will remove the bubble too)
3. While holding the button, dip the applicator back into the bottle (dont screw it back in)
4. Release your hold on the button
it should bring in more product into the applicator and then you’ll be able to get droplets of it out instead of the little bubble
**hopefully this helps anyone ever purchasing the product ! ***
@Jean From BeautyShopPH try this out and let me know if it works lol. Cause whenever I press in the bottle it doesn’t work and I would get the bubble. I heard her first batch there was an issue with the applicator and that it has been fixed. However, when something is sealed, it doesnt bring in product cause it needs “air” ( i dont want to go into the science) .
I also have some trouble with dispersing the product. I feel like the dropper doesnt work properly, so I tend to just wipe it on, which wouldnt be the most hygienic way.
I got a new color of them and that pump seems to work just fine, but the first batch I got doesnt seem to properly work I think

I’m so glad Michelle came out with a cushion foundation for exactly the reason that it has deep skin tones. The whole of Michelle’s makeup line is very Korean/Asian inspired so the fact she brought deeper tones from a product concept that only has light to light shades, I always get a little heated at comments that grip for her shade range when it’s meant for tinted coverage..
