Disclaimer: This palette was purchased by me. These are my own, honest opinions. Not a sponsored video – I have never accepted money from a company in exchange for a video.

(The items listed above are accompanied by affiliate links, meaning I earn a small commission if a purchase is made through my links. This has no impact on the cost to the consumer. I link to products this way whenever possible, and it has no bearing on the products I choose to review or recommend. I would link the products on Ulta/Sephora/whatever brand’s website anyway as a means of connecting you to further info on the products, so now it simply offers the potential for a slight financial benefit to me, which I greatly appreciate as I do not ever do sponsored videos. Feel free to use, or not use, the links provided. I do not have any coupon codes. After being asked in the comments section about links/coupon codes/how they work and why I use them, I felt like providing this explanation! Thanks!)

I so appreciate that you keep doing you! No ugly language, no drama, and I feel you are totally trustworthy when you recommend a product! I like to watch a beauty video to improve my application and get ideas on a future purchase…THANK YOU!!!!!!

I wish there were more “multitasking” palettes for darker skin. I feel like the complexion products (and sometimes even the eyeshadows) are almost always geared towards white to lightly tanned skin. Sometimes I get tired of pulling out all my products in the morning.

IT cosmetics on the whole isn’t particularly diverse, it’s a shame coz the formulas seem to be so popular with many skin types&ages…
I went to Selfridges to try the CC factor 50 foundation and the fair wasn’t very fair and I would have to use lightener drops, which I am resistant to do with a £30 product! But my skin tone is hardly unusual or extreme (as a MAC NW15 / KatVonD 44cool) so it doesn’t really say great things for a brand if I am failing to be in the Caucasian ‘masses’ they DO cater for to justify failing most other skin tones completely! Xxxx

Emily is one of those girls that you should be jealous of because she’s gorgeous and can pull anything off…but she has such an endearing personality that you end up liking her more and more!

Emily, i just gave birth to our first baby yesterday. Shortly after she was born, they had to take her to the NICU because she has low oxygen levels and an infection. i cannot feed her right now, but i can pump for her. i just wanted to let you know how thankful i am for your videos. Even in all this mess, it’s so comforting to watch your videos as i pump. It’s a calm in the storm. Thank you!!💕

Elizabeth Shaw Actually it’s not from that website or that brand. It’s only on Shophush.com and the ShopHush app and it’s from the brand Bad Habit. They have exact dupes for ABH Modern Renaissance & Subculture, Huda Beauty Rose Gold, UD Naked Heat, and a few others. I got the ones I just listed and I also have the originals and I have to say that they are great! Especially if you’re on a budget and want the exact same looks with a cheaper price tag. The palettes are 10!

nich v also everybody has been going wild over the Mac pigment in tan with all of the Hollywood stars are wearing. There is an exact dupe buy L’Oreal called Amber rush I think. I just picked it up at Walmart for $7.

    3. Elizabeth Shaw

nich v look at Beauty creations.com. They have an exact dupe.for the Anastasia modern romance palette and you cannot tell the difference when I saw someone do several looks. I have gotten that and the brush set from there. The pallet was $13 and I think the brush that was also $13. People love the makeup at this site.

Emily, excellent video as usual. Would you consider doing a video with your friend David someday? You’ve imparted so much of his wisdom to us over the years and I’d love to see the two of you together!

Am I the only person who does not like lip products in a pallet? It is so inconvenient for touch ups during the day. I don’t want to take the pallet everywhere with me. That would mean either I don’t use the lip products or have to determine an alternate lip product to apply later in the day.

    1. Mandy Ratliff

I don’t like lip products in a palette either. I work in a hospital, wearing scrubs all day. Lugging a palette around with me is impossible. I need something small I can stick in one of my pockets. And the shades in this palette aren’t quite neutral enough for what I need.

    2. MrAshtonone

I dislike all but one of the lip colors in the palette but, I normally prefer not to have lip colors mixed in a palette with powders.  If I were to buy a lip palette it would be one from UD that is dedicated to lips only (one of the UD Nagel palettes or the Vice Palette).  Normally I have at least five lipsticks, two Burt’s bees balms, and a gloss or two in my bag (lol and I wonder why it is so heavy).

    3. caitlin_teaches_things

Carrie M yeah i think lip palettes are really only for pros who need to combine things and have a lot of different lipsticks handy. the average person doesn’t need that many at once. i like the idea of mixing my own shade, but then i have to remember what i used and what if i mix it different this time?? just too much. also the creams next to the powders is just kinda icky. if you use this everyday no matter how hard you try, powder will get in the creams and that’s gross after awhile.

  7. Diane Mary

love the eyeshadow look you did with this!!! i ordered mine on nov 7 and it still hasn’t arrived!!! i’m sitting at the edge of my seat waiting. qvc is SO SLOW delivering makeup for whatever reason. I agree with you on the highlighter pan- i think it is too big. i also would have preferred bigger corrector shades or even split it half highlighter and half bronzer 🙂
