Good video….but you need to zoom in more…hard to see! Especially if you are over 50

I have big deep set almond eyes that don’t look as huge doe eyed as they did when I was younger,and they look more deep set too, I didn’t even need to wear eye makeup then, but even when I was younger eyeliner applied anywhere near the inner corners of my eyes made them appear smaller and changed the shape and not for the better,and I have had some make up artists do a bad job especially doing my eyes this way.
And I had portraits taken with it applied this way,and it didn’t look good at all and I have recently discovered that when I apply a thin to medium line on my lower and upper lids only from the middle to the outer corners,and nowhere near the inner corners, and join them together,and draw an outer V ,my eyes look bigger and it emphasizes the beautiful shape and I can see this very clearly in pictures. I have read online articles by Mary Kay Cosmetics,and others,and watched youtube videos by women with deep set eyes and they say and show the same things I’m saying.

This is also a good tutorial if you have deep set eyes and need a technique to make your eyes seem less sunken no matter what your age.
Her wrong eye is basically 80’s makeup, lol. Every age group does, or at least should be doing, the correct and updated version of eye makeup. She would have looked a bit better with a tiny bit of bottom liner, but for a day look it works.

Great advice. Just one criticism – as most who watch your channel are probably over 50 and eye sight is failing, do you think you could zoom in more as for me at least struggle to see what your doing especially if I want to emulate your look 😊. Thanks xx

speak for yourself! Some women still have amazing skin. Not every race/ethnic group curdles like spoiled milk!!! Ive seen many women in every age group look fantastic
I recently figured out that elderly women have messy makeup because they can’t see. I need glasses now, and I can’t see well to do my eyes anymore without a magnifying mirror, which is a horror show all its own. Was easier to just stop wearing makeup, which I used to love.

I agree she should be closer. Here”s how to do it: To zoom in, while watching a YouTube video, press and hold the CTRL key down while tapping the + key. To zoom back out: press and hold CTRL key while tapping the – key. Each tap will increase by 10%.
Beautiful job on your makeup. Here is a tip I learned though. Never pump your mascara instead twirl the brush instead to grab product otherwise you are pumping air into your mascara and it will dry it out much faster. :o)
Tip for when your mascara has started clumping – add a drop or two of a cosmetic oil eg argan oil, rosehip or similar. Close the tube up tight and give it a good shake!
@Bobbie Hoff how would that add bacteria? Bacteria thrives in moisture, if pumping it dries out the formula faster, it would be less likely to grow bacteria. Rewetting with water or spit introduces bacteria, just as not replacing it every 4 months maximum. I had to learn about it because I like to be knowledgeable about things my girls love, and it’s a great way for me to bond with them as they grow older.
I’ve also heard that pumping it adds bacteria.

@Jj Morris That would he after applying from the bottom & wiggling it up. Then apply from the bottom after the top.
Most Magazines and professional Make Up Artists will tell you to apply from underneath the lashes and wiggle. That’s where she gets her Tips from that she’s sharing.

This is the thing, when you are young and first learning or doing makeup doing the “wrong” things didn’t so much matter because we looked young 🤣 we never realized we have to change the way we do our makeup.
These natural makeup queens didn’t have the platform to share these amazing tips with the rest of us so we are just now finding out.
